Here’s a player’s-grade Canadian-made Larrivee D-09 Rosewood that delivers the tone and feel these guitars are known for. If you’re after a great-sounding rosewood dreadnought without paying collector prices, this one is worth a serious look.
This guitar is in good playing condition and truly sounds fantastic—big, rich dreadnought tone with strong projection, warm lows, and clear highs. It has been played and loved, and it shows in the best way: responsive, open, and lively.
Cosmetically, this is a well-used instrument with honest wear. The top has at least four repaired cracks, and there are a few areas where the clear coat is bubbling. A clear plastic pickguard has been installed. There are also divots in the first couple frets from years of use, but the guitar still plays well and performs as it should.
