We offer quality instrument repairs on almost all musical instruments and equipment. We offer instrument repairs from playing condition through complete overhauls of all student to professional woodwinds, brasswinds, strings (violin, viola, cello, and bass) guitars, basses, banjo, ukulele etc. and percussion instruments!
Repairs are based on a $100 per hour rate, and we will call you with an estimate if more than 2 hours of work is needed. Repairs are billed at $100 per hour, and when a job requires more than 4 hours, the rate is discounted by 25%, reducing the hourly cost to $75 per hour.
Guitar Repairs
Minor repairs are done free while you wait.
Rates start at $30 minimum, and we will call with an estimate if the repair is over 2 hours of work on most repairs. Please allow 1-2 days for repairs done in-house. Please allow 1-2 weeks on repairs sent out to repairman.
Brass Instrument Repairs Are Done In-House in 1-2 Business Days (at $100 per hour)

Woodwind instrument repair turnaround time is 2 weeks on woodwinds such as flute, clarinet, sax, oboe, bassoon etc. (These are sent out)

In House Repairs
Brass instrument repair turnaround time is 1-2 days and is done in-house. If the instrument should need more work and need to be sent out, please allow 1-2 weeks for repairs.
String orchestral repair turnaround time is 1-2 days and is done in-house. If the instrument should need more work and need to be sent out, please allow 1-2 weeks for repairs.
Guitar, bass, and string instrument repair turnaround time is 1-2 days for restrings and minor repairs done in house.
Flute and Clarinet – Playing Condition $100
Alto Sax – Playing Condition $100
Tenor Sax – Playing Condition $100
The basic idea is-if less than half of the pads need to be replaced, the instrument can usually be put into good play condition. If more than half of the pads need to be replaced, it's more cost-efficient, and the instrument will play better if it is repadded or mechanically overhauled.

Individual pad replacement, spring replacement, dent removal, soldering, tenon cork replacement, headjoint cork replacement, neck cork replacement, key and pivot screw replacement, post resetting, crack repair, tenon ring tightening.

String Orchestral Instrument Repairs Are Done In-Store 1-2 Business Days (at $100.00 per hour)
Such as violin, viola, cello, bass, etc.
String Orchestra Instruments Playing Condition – Minor cracks and damaged areas repaired, instrument cleaned and polished, the bridge will be placed in the proper position, pegs lubed if needed so pegs will be easy to tune and don't slip or stick. If needed, drill new string holes in tuning pegs. Soundpost set if needed. Strings cleaned or replaced if needed (playing condition does not cover materials such as strings or bridges, etc.). Check the bow for elasticity and that the frog adjustment is in good working order, set fine tuners to optimum positions, check tailgut, check and clean case, etc.
