The Gibson Chet Atkins Tennessean is a thinline, semi-hollow electric guitar that was a collaborative design between Gibson and the legendary guitarist Chet Atkins. The design was to combine the best features of a solid body guitar and a hollow body guitar into one instrument.
Description
This Gibson Chet Atkins Tennessean has been setup with light strings and plays great with low action. It features a laminate maple body with center block, maple neck with ebony fingerboard, and arm rest. Overall the condition of this guitar is good. Minor play wear can be see on the body. The neck and frets are in good condition with plenty of life left in the frets. Gretsch style pickups (possibly Lollar Pickups) have been added in place of the original humbuckers. The pickguard has been changed and the original screw holes are still visible. The bottom strap button is non-original. Please refer to the photos for the guitar’s accurate condition. The original Gibson case is included.
