Selmer Paris K-Modified Cornet – Serial #2045 (1958–1959) w/ Original Case

For sale is a Selmer Paris K-Modified Cornet, serial number 2045, dating to approximately 1958–1959. This vintage French-made cornet is in excellent playing condition and has been fully serviced.

The instrument has a Keith Ecker modification, with the lead pipe opened up to a .458″ bore. This modification gives the cornet a more open and responsive feel while allowing for a strong, full sound.

The cornet has a good overall cosmetic condition for its age, with normal signs of use and wear consistent with a vintage instrument. It comes with its original case and a Henri Selmer Paris No. 3 cornet mouthpiece.
