More information about this Pioneer system
The Pioneer PL-560 is an automatic, direct drive turntable with the same drive and metered speed control as the PL-630.
The Hall DC drive motor is supplemented with an independent second motor (warren motor) which handles automatic functions of lead-in, play, return, repeat and shut-off.
Low howl performance is guaranteed by use of a solid particle board base, big feet insulators and a special rubber decoupler for the S-shaped pipe arm and counterweight.
Other features include an oil-damped cueing device, record size selector, selector for automatic or manual cueing, strobe light and fine speed adjustment.

The Pioneer RT-909 3-motor deck, with auto reverse / repeat playback and many more features, takes the open-reel format another important and impressive step ahead of anything available in the cassette format.
You’re going to sense this the moment you see it, and hear it, in action. Features? It’s another loaded deck from Pioneer. It not only accepts the conventional 7 inch reels, but also the professional size 10.5 inch diameter reels.
It gives an exceptionally wide frequency range of 20Hz to 28kHz (± 3dB) and, to match this outstanding performance, gives low wow / flutter of 0.04% or better, with both specifications measured at the 7.5 ips tape speed.
It mixes microphone inputs and line inputs, another advanced professional feature. And it allows instant comparison between the tape and the original, as well as azimuth adjustments of the heads. Add up all of this Pioneer perfection and there’s no doubt that the RT-909 is made for the person who has major musical ambitions and strongly professional tastes.
And yet if you’ve never considered making the big move upward into open-reel, because you thought they were too complicated, you’ll be happy to learn that Pioneer has equipped the RT-909 with the kind of features that only an open-reel novice could appreciate. Things like exceptional headroom (and flexibility) that means this open-reel format offers more overall performance in terms of dynamic range, distortion and noise than the best of cassette formats. And much more: convenient automatic reverse / repeat playback, tape-saving 3.75 ips speed, easy to read Fluroscan meter and 4 digit counter, timer start, LED indicators, and other features.
Are you ready for the move to open-reel perfection? Pioneer has made a beautiful deck and equipped it in such a way that it performs with the ease and perfection of a cassette deck.

Inside it’s one of the most circuit-packed AM/FM tuners Pioneer have ever built. And outside it’s one of the cleanest and most simple to use.
The Pioneer TX-9500 has a new streamlined look, logically-arranged switches and controls, and a scientifically-designed tuning system that makes it all look so easy.
But it’s what’s inside that counts: dual-gate MOS FETs and a 5-gang variable capacitor boost FM front end sensitivity to a superb 1.5uV (IHF). The FM IF has 7 ICs with differential amps, 4 ceramic filters (with 2 elements each) and a wide-band linear detector to pinpoint selectivity at 85dB or better and beef up the capture ratio to 1.0dB (IHF). Even in stereo the S/N is a super high 75dB, with total harmonic distortion of 0.2% at 1KHz.
Thanks to the PLL MPX (phase lock loop multiplex) demodulator, stereo separation stretches to a wide 35dB over the 50 to 10,000Hz range. Stability? Even in signal-weak or signal-strong areas your station comes in clean and fresh.
Planning to record off the air? Hit the switch for the built-in 440Hz test signal generator and check the output level against your deck’s VUs for optimum adjustment before the music begins.

The complex control functions of the Pioneer SG-9500 are not limited merely to the equalisation of a simple program source, but can also provide precise tone corrections for the playback equipment (turntable and tape deck), speakers and listening room.
Musical program sources can also be modified to improve the sound of technically inferior recordings or to tailor them to suit your personal taste.
The SG-9500 is a highly versatile audio component.

Pioneer RG-1
Modern recording uses three dynamic control techniques which may detract from the original dynamic range; reduction of transient peaks, overall compression of loud levels and upward manipulation of soft levels.
Today’s records and tapes offer remarkable improvements in dynamic range and other high fidelity essentials. But if your playback equipment isn’t quite up to date, those improvements are likely to pass you right by.
Pioneer’s new RG-1 is your answer – a stereo equipment up-dater which not only lets you take full advantage of the expanded dynamic range of any new record, tape or FM high fidelity source program, but gives you the unique advantage of a noise reduction effect at the same time.
Tape hiss, record-surface scratch noise, record warp, and other unnatural and unwanted noises are electronically scrubbed out with no adverse effects on musical content.
And with the Dynamic Expansion Selector switch on the RG-1 in operation, the attack and release times of each individual musical note and harmonic are automatically re-controlled to result in clean, balanced and much more dynamic reproduction throughout the entire musical spectrum.
Large twin level meters on the front panel let you keep a close watch on the amazing effects of this essential high fidelity component.
And its simplified controls – with only one stereo set of input and output terminals – mean you can quickly and easily apply the Pioneer RG-1 to a number of specialized jobs for better high-fidelity performance from any stereo equipment set-up for listening.
The Pioneer SR-303 is an all electronic reverberation amplifier which incorporates an audio-use delay element known as a bucket brigade device (BBD).
Unlike conventional mechanical reverberation amplifiers this particular unit is not in the least affected by external vibration or fluctuations in the reverberation effect.
Furthermore, the delay element features a C Mos IC semiconductor which contributes greatly to yielding such impressive characteristics as a high signal to noise ratio of 90dB and a low total harmonic distortion.
