Description

Martin Jeff Tweedy Signature 00DB Grand Concert Acoustic Guitar

The Martin Jeff Tweedy Signature 00DB is a unique small-body acoustic designed with songwriting and expressive playing in mind. Inspired by Wilco frontman and songwriter Jeff Tweedy, this model combines a vintage-inspired look with Martin’s traditional craftsmanship and modern construction.

The guitar features a deep-body 00 design made entirely from FSC-certified tonewoods. The slightly deeper body adds air volume and low-end response while retaining the comfortable size and focused character of a 00 guitar. The result is a balanced, woody tone with impressive depth and projection.

The solid mahogany top, back, and sides give the guitar a dry, warm voice with plenty of midrange character. Scalloped European spruce X-bracing helps the top respond quickly and adds additional volume, sustain, and dynamic range. This combination works especially well for folk, Americana, singer-songwriter, and fingerstyle playing.

The 25.4″ long scale adds string tension and projection while giving the guitar a familiar feel for players accustomed to full-scale acoustics. The deep-body construction also gives the 00DB more presence than you might expect from its compact body size.

The satin-finished Modified V mahogany neck provides a comfortable, vintage-inspired feel. The FSC-certified ebony fingerboard and bridge add a premium touch, while the Foden-style inlays, multi-stripe Style 18 rosette, and brown faux tortoiseshell binding give the guitar a distinctive appearance. Nickel open-gear tuners complete the vintage-inspired design.

The guitar is finished in Tweedy Burst and includes a molded hardshell case and a paper label signed by Jeff Tweedy.
