Description

Jacobus Stainer 4/4 Violin with Case and 2 Bows 1920-1930

This vintage violin is a German‑made Jacobus Stainer copy, likely produced in the 1920s. It is in fair playing condition and shows several age‑related structural issues. The top has two repaired cracks and an additional unrepaired crack on the back. Due to the cracks beneath the bridge, the top has begun to cave in, which affects overall stability and performance.

The tailpiece is a modern replacement, though a second tailpiece is included. The original case and two bows accompany the instrument; however, both bows are in poor to non‑functional condition, and the case shows minor damage.

This violin is being sold As‑Described, and all components will be delivered in the condition stated.
