GoodTone delvale drive Pedal

GoodTone delvale drive Pedal

$155.00

Description

The GoodTone delvale drive pedal is an overdrive and boost pedal that uses multiple cascading gain stages. This results in a pedal that responds very much like a real tube amplifier. Depending on the settings, the pedal can provide clean boost or a variety of overdrive textures. A slight mid bump fattens up the tone. Reg. $155 Make offer

We recently did a guitar show in Delaware and met a really nice guy named Norm, who was there representing Goodtone. He’s actually from Maryland, and he had a table full of these pedals that immediately stood out. Norm explained that each one is hand‑built, and when you open them up you can see it — the wiring is super clean, looks to be hand‑soldered, and has that unmistakable “built by a real craftsperson” feel.

From his website, Goodtone is known for their boutique tube amplifiers, and the same philosophy carries over into their pedals. Their amps are based on classic tube designs and offer meaningful tone‑shaping options like cathode/fixed‑bias switching, tube/solid‑state rectifier switching, and tone control bypass. They use carbon resistors, polypropylene capacitors, Mercury Magnetics transformers, and Weber or Jensen speakers. All wiring is point‑to‑point or tag board, and cabinets are finger‑jointed pine for durability and tone.

That same attention to detail and high‑quality components is clearly present in their effects pedal designs. This pedal reflects that boutique, Maryland‑built craftsmanship — clean work, premium parts, and a tone‑first approach.
