Gibson Les Paul K.M. Kalamazoo 1979

Guitar is in great playing condition. We just put a lot of working into this guitar in-order to get it playing again. One of the coils on the neck pickup was rewound by Lindy Fralin. The pickup rings and mounting hardware for pickups has been replaced. Non original switch tip. Neck is stable and it does not appear to have had any repairs. Frets are a little low but still fully playable. This is a great guitar and a piece of Gibson history. These were the last run of guitars out of the Kalamazoo factory for Gibson, the K.M. was designed for southern guitar dealers and was limited to 1500 guitars. Touted as the first 1959 reissue (despite being nothing like the 59), these guitars featured a mahogany body with maple cap and a three piece maple neck. Guitar comes in original hard shell case (one hinge on case is broken). OFFERS WELCOME!!!
