Mandolin is in excellent playing condition. Instrument has been well maintained and there do not seem to be any cracks or major repairs done. There are some chips in the finish as well as some finish checking, which is to be expected on an instrument of this age. Neck and frets are in good shape. This mandolin features an unbound curly maple neck with ebony fretboard, pearl dots, ebony peghead overlay w/ “The Gibson” script logo, and flower-pot inlaid in pearl. Flamed maple back/sides with bound spruce top, all in a rich, nitro-sunburst. Equipped with adjustable bridge, nickel-plated 4-per-plate tuners, and Gibson script tailpiece cover.
