Fender Stratocaster 57 American Vintage 1982 – Fiesta Red

Up for sale is a cherished 1982 Fender ’57 American Vintage Stratocaster in striking Fiesta Red. This vintage guitar has a lot of character, including noticeable buckle rash and body wear, as shown in the photos above. The 1-ply pickguard is also slightly lifting.

This Strat features a “V” shaped maple neck with a 25.5″ scale length and a maple fretboard with a 7.25″ radius. It has 21 vintage-size frets that show some divots from years of play. The guitar includes single-coil Strat pickups and a 3-way pickup selector switch. The controls are arranged with a master volume, a tone control for the neck pickup, and a tone control for the middle pickup. It also has vintage-style tuners.

Please note, the back plate has been switched out, and the serial number does not match the guitar. Based on the neck date and the internal details of the guitar, we have determined that this is an American Vintage ’57 reissue from 1982.
