Fender Jazz Bass 1966 – Candy Apple Red matching headstock and Original Case

Here is a very rare 1966 custom color Fender Jazz bass with matching headstock, bound neck and dot inlay. The only thing missing is the headstock strap button. This is one rare instrument. Made early 1966. We understand only about a 100 total were made in a few different custom colors with the bound neck, dot inlay, and a matching headstock. There is some wear in the finish, as is to be expected from an instrument of this age. The back of the body shows more wear than the top. Neck and original frets are in excellent shape. Bass plays very well with low action. Original bridge cover and pickup cover are included along with the original case and what we believe to be an original instrument cable.
