The Eastman PCH2-OM builds an orchestra model body around a solid thermo-cured Sitka spruce top and laminated rosewood back and sides, finished here in a Classic sunburst gloss that gives it a vintage, well-worn look right out of the case. It gives players who want OM comfort and rosewood’s added depth a genuinely solid top driving the tone instead of a laminate top’s flatter response.

The thermo-cured spruce top responds quickly under a pick, adding headroom and punch, while the laminated rosewood back and sides bring warmth and low-end depth without tipping the balance toward boomy. At a comfortable OM size and a 24.9 inch scale, it handles strummed rhythm and fingerpicked patterns with equal ease.

The Classic sunburst top pairs with a TrueTone satin finish on the back and sides, framed by black plastic binding, an abalone rosette, and pearl dot inlays for a clean, traditional look. A maple neck carved to a traditional even C profile carries a rosewood fingerboard and a 1 3/4 inch bone nut, and Pingwell tuners keep it stable through a gig.
