The ASP800 features eight Class-A microphone preamps with ADAT optical output for sending up to eight channels of audio to a compatible interface or digital recording system. Each channel includes 48V phantom power, a polarity switch, and a high-pass filter.

Channels 1 and 2 also feature Audient’s HMX and IRON tone-shaping circuits. HMX adds harmonic saturation and character, while IRON provides transformer-style saturation for added warmth and color.
