Adamas Proto Rare model 1581-5 Deep Bowl with Case

This Ovation Adamas 1581 Proto/Rare model has been professionally set up with a comfortable medium‑low action and delivers excellent tone both acoustically and through an amp. The deep‑bowl cutaway design gives it strong low‑end projection, while the textured Adamas top provides the signature clarity and responsiveness these models are known for.

It features large maple epaulet soundhole inlays, a 5‑piece neck with a soft‑V profile, 10″ fingerboard radius, and Kaman Bar reinforcement for long‑term stability. The OP‑24 preamp works perfectly and offers classic 1990s Ovation versatility.

Cosmetically, the body is very clean overall. There are a few finish dings on the bowl back, and some visible finish wear on the back of the neck around the 2nd–3rd frets, along with light fingerboard wear. The wear is noticeable visually but not really felt while playing. Included is the original case and the original owner’s manual.
