S. Yairi Model 9100
Sadao Yairi was a guitar maker from Nagoya, Japan. He is thought to have been the uncle or a cousin of Kazuo Yairi. A master luthier in his own right, he built guitars under his own label, as well as for Alvarez and Samick.
This guitar features a natural satin finish on a 25″ scale, 12-fret neck with slotted headstock, with a solid spruce top, and (possibly) solid rosewood back and sides.
The fingerboard measures 1 7/8″ at the nut, and 2 1/4″ at the 12th fret. The body is 19″ long, 10″ across the upper bout, and 13 1/2″ across the lower bout.
