FENDER Stratocaster with Slab Board 1960 – OVERVIEW

Step into Fender’s golden era with this 1960 Fender Stratocaster with Slab Board, Old Old Old Refin in stunning Aged White. Although it’s been refinished, it still retains all the vintage soul and unmistakable vibe of a true pre-CBS classic. As soon as you pick it up, the magic is undeniable.

While your eyes are drawn to the aged body, the real gem is the slab rosewood fingerboard. Because of its thickness and clay dot inlays, it instantly delivers that coveted early ‘60s Fender feel. Moreover, the neck’s natural wear makes it exceptionally comfortable. Even after decades, it plays beautifully.

In terms of tone, this Strat absolutely delivers. Since it still has its original 1960 pickups and electronics, you’ll enjoy the rich mids, clear highs, and classic chime. Furthermore, the middle pickup was professionally rewound by Lindy Fralin, ensuring tonal integrity. As a result, every pickup position sounds authentic and alive.

Though the bridge and nut have been replaced for improved functionality, the original bridge is included. Additionally, the refinished body adds durability without sacrificing vintage aesthetics. Because the hardware has aged naturally, it brings real visual character.

Interestingly, the neck heel lacks a pencil date, which aligns with Fender’s brief 1960 dating pause. Thus, this guitar becomes not just rare but historically intriguing.

With a weight of 7lbs 9oz, it’s perfectly balanced for long sessions. Plus, it comes with a non-original hard case for safe transport.

Altogether, this Strat offers tone, history, and playability. So, don’t miss your chance to make it yours.
