Charvel Model 4M Electric Guitar 1988 – Candy Apple Red w/Case
1988 Charvel Model 4M Electric Guitar – Candy Apple Red, EMG Bridge Pickup – Made in Japan
Here’s a killer example of late-’80s shred style with pro-level build quality: a 1988 Charvel Model 4M, finished in sleek Candy Apple Red and built in Japan during the golden era of Charvel guitars.
This one features a replaced EMG bridge pickup, giving it a more modern, aggressive tone ideal for high-gain playing. The original neck and middle pickups remain intact, and the guitar offers versatile tones for everything from metal and hard rock to fusion and beyond.
The guitar is in good condition, with normal cosmetic wear for its age — some light dings and finish marks here and there, but nothing that affects playability. The bolt-on maple neck with a maple fingerboard feels fast and comfortable, and the frets have plenty of life left. The licensed Jackson-branded JT6 tremolo system works as it should.
