1966 Fender Telecaster Rosewood Fingerboard – stripped Natural with Gibson Patent # Neck Pickup

For Sale: 1966 Fender Telecaster – stripped finish Natural, Rosewood Fingerboard, Gibson Patent Neck Pickup + Original Case

Here’s a true player’s gem with serious character and vintage mojo: a 1966 Fender Telecaster that’s seen decades of music and has the scars to prove it. The original finish has been stripped   natural, showcasing the grain of the body wood in a raw, honest look. It features a rosewood fingerboard that plays smooth and fast, with the unmistakable feel of a mid-’60s Fender neck.

This Tele is loaded with original bridge 1966 Fender Tele pickup professionally rewound and a Gibson patent number sticker pickup in the neck position—a rare and excellent-sounding mod that brings warmth and clarity, pairing beautifully with the classic Tele bridge snap. It also features a handmade leather pickguard, adding a rugged custom touch you won’t find on any stock model.

There’s a significant chunk missing from the back of the body—purely cosmetic, but a testament to the guitar’s well-traveled life. The tuners have most likely been replaced but hold tuning reliably. A second set of old tuners in included in the case. This guitar plays and sounds phenomenal—resonant, responsive, and full of character.

And yes—the original case is included.

If you’re looking for a vintage Tele with soul, upgrades, and a ton of vibe, this one’s ready to inspire.
